Last april Elon Musk (the CEO of Tesla Motor, Space Exploration Technologies Corporation.. ) was invited for a talk with Norway’s Minister of Transport and Communications, Ketil Solvik-Olsen.
Why does E. Musk was in Norway? well because the norvegian has introduced a string of incentives for purchasing electric cars instead of conventional gasoline-powered vehicles (Newspaper Aftenposten reported that Norway is now Tesla’s biggest market in Europe, accounting for every sixth new car sold in the country) and in Musk’s mind they are the “pioneer” in the electric car revolution.
This conversation highligh some interestings aspects about sustainable energy (and Norway’s case), why hydrogen seems to be not efficient and finally his project to offer autonomous vehicles in the near future (“There’s a new type of car or vehicle that I think would be really great – to solve vehicle density in cities problem – and actually take people to their final destination and not just to the bus stop”).
